It will be over soon without you even having to worry about it. So let’s start already!
Calculate Your LED Strips Wattage
Before plugging in your LEDs, you should at least have an idea of how much wattage is needed or wanted to make your LED work properly.
You can do this very easily by multiplying the length of your LED strip by the wattage per meter of the strip.
Find Compatible Power Supply
If you want your LEDs to run effortlessly and not die down after a few months, make sure the power supply that your LED is receiving is just enough, not too much or too little for your LEDs.
So make sure you chose a power supply that uses only 80% of its overall power to run LEDs
Attaching Multiple LEDs To The Switch, Aka Power Supply
You can attach more than one LED to your switch easily without having to worry about it only if you know that your switch is powerful enough to handle it. And that you will know by doing the steps I told you above.
Once you come down on this step, all you have to do is to get a connector block to connect multi-LED strips; this connector block will connect to your switch and then divide the power supply into all the LED strip outlets.
One thing you should make sure of is that if you want to connect three LEDs to a switch, then you will have to buy a connector with three outputs.
